SOD LAWNS

One of the reasons sod lawns are sought out is because, unlike putting down grass seed and waiting for the seedlings to grow, sod gives you an instant lawn. Most grass seed will germinate and grow in 10-14 days, but can sometimes take up to 30 days. Sod is grass that is already grown by a professional on a sod farm, that is brought to a property in strips and laid down on the soil. The roots of the grass are in the bottom soil under the grass itself and has to adhere to the new soil it is laid out on. Preparation is the key to getting sod to take root. Complex Landscape Care & Design Inc. has years of experience in installing sod lawns. It can sometimes be a very temperamental process, but we know how to prepare the property before the installation, as well as how to properly take care of the lawn afterwards, so that it stays healthy, full and a beautiful green.
